Associate Members are members that support the mission of the organization but are not involved in agriculture in their day-to-day!
Our bylaws define an Associate Member as:
Other persons, partnerships, unincorporated associations and corporations interested in the organization’s basic objectives may join the county Farm Bureau as an associate member, with all the rights and privileges of membership and if accepted, shall, upon execution of the membership agreement and assumption of all obligations attached thereto, be entitled to the rights and privileges of membership as set forth, except that they shall not be entitled to hold office or vote in the meetings and proceedings of the Farm Bureau.
County Farm Bureau's distinguish the Membership Type (Voting vs. Associate) - if you believe your status is incorrect or want to learn more about the difference between the two, call our office at 410-922-3426.
