Let's GRO: From Hay to Horse Workshop

MAEF is hosting an Ag in The Classroom training on April 18th, 2026. The event will be located at the Maryland Farm Bureau Office in Davidsonville, MD. Farms and animals go hand in hand…but what goes into raising and caring for them? Come get a behind the scenes tour of two local farms: a hay and grain farm & a horse farm. Then learn how to incorporate the history, economics, careers, and animal care of agriculture into your work with students. Hear from engaging guest speakers and leave with valuable resources to use in your classroom! Cost is $30* per participant, which includes tour, lunch/snacks, and classroom resources valued at $100.
